pvp is getting stale
I don’t know if your trolling or srs…
really lol u will never “balance” this game
the best thing u can do is add to it to keep it fresh
the combat is getting stale and we have a overwhelming amount of dull story content

PvP is only stale because it’s boring Capture mode. Where’s the Team Deathmatch, where’s the King of the Hill, etc

WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald

there are barely some pvp players left, adding more gamemodes could possibly destroy pvp by splitting the players even more – therefor less pvp player- way more wait time- less times played
I’d settle for just the slightest hint of balance and a single [censored] reason for the Ranger class to exist.

Because Capture severely limits the builds people play into bunker status…Team Deathmatch would change that around with more builds being viable due to the fact that “anything goes”.

Balance wise this game is one of the most balanced mmos around. I like spvp but with 1 mode yes it does get boring. That is why I take breaks from pvp and player wvw and vice versa. Would be great if they announced a tdm 2v2 and 3v3.
You can have fun in wvw, players are so bad that great spvp players can easily 3+v1 on most profs and that does make things interesting. Also form some solid comps with a couple of mates and go rolf stomp biggers groups its a blast.

I question what other games you play if you consider GW2 balanced.
Never once in the history of GW2 has s/tPvP supported all 8 classes. If half of them have any real standing at any given time it was a miracle. Obviously there are outliers that play whatever and succeed, but the ‘meta’ has never supported all 8 classes at once.
In WvW, the Ranger class could have been deleted 1.5 years ago and no one would have cared other than the Ranger players. Mesmers would only be missed due to their veil and teleport.
In PvE, the Necromancer and Engineer classes haven’t even been thrown in the barrel to sink to the bottom.
And this is balance?
