is it me that i am bad or thief d/p is op, i cant do nothing vs perma blind.In addition we were about 10 ppl vs one thief and we could not get him for 15m.I am asking you how does a proffesion that can 10v1 is balanced?

You main a thief and don’t know 30/30/30/30/30 spec that procs blind every 1/4 sec, has perma evade, perma stealth without reveal on hit, regens 1k HP/sec in stealth and 1 shots bunkers? Oh, and has stun breaks with no CDs.

It’s just you if he’s not going into stealth with Heartseeker from it. Black Powder, while giving a blinding field, only lasts 4 seconds and costs 6 initiative. Unless they’re autoattacking you to death, they’re going to run out of initiative from spam. And even with blind being inflicted, a hit is still going to hurt even while they’re in the blinding field.

Btw…are you only using melee weapons, or ranged as well? If you’re also using ranged, switch to ranged and blast him to death, that field won’t help him if the blind won’t work. Again, this is only if he’s not abusing spam with Black Powder -> Heartseeker. If he is…I can’t help you, even as a thief I cannot counter other thieves doing this, I can only relegate the attempts at backstab using my own Black Powder.

Stand in BP? That’s exactly what I’m doing and I think this skill is OP!

Not necessarily 1v10 if he can’t reliably finish all of you. Just more of one person trolling 10 people who honestly should have had the tools to stop him.

Blind on stealth is the problem here which main thiefs likes to hide from the world.

I was always wondering how multiple ppl can’t stop one thief from going stealth via BP…. and finally after certain ranger crying about stealth posted his gameplay, it hit me…like a comet…how couldn’t i have through about it!!? Many players are clickers. It takes a while for a person to realize what happens + there is server delay + not many (outside of pvp) know you can interrupt BP + HS… now under all this conditions how can a clicker click the right spell fast enough lol?

I’d give a Gibbs headslap to anybody who actually took the Cloaked in Stealth trait, it’s worthless considering if you’re going to be that stealth heavy, you’re better off taking Shadow’s Embrace instead to shut down any and all conditions on yourself.

And if you’re going full points in the Shadow Arts line, you should never be touching Cloaked in Stealth to begin with, especially considering our GM trait Shadow’s Rejuvenation makes stealth a healing ability, and Hidden Thief gives an extra stealth ability for use.

Strange ive seen and fought many thiefs with it. Most of them were running. D/p d/d and almosr impossible to win in 1v1.
