Who remembers when we use to actually make real builds? I forgot how much fun it was actually picking our soils. Not only being able to use the exact few skills over and over. Our traits now are more complained yes. But wow was this many options fun. Each weapon for each class needs to have 2 or 3 options i think. I’m getting bored hitting the same key over and over with each class.

why not just add new weapons

your character looks more interesting AND you get more options

Because he is like me, love the looks of the weapon but hate how it is pigeonholed into a certain skill “theme”.

If they do the new skills for each weapon thing, they would have to make sure each skill can work with one another no matter the combination.

That is some serious brainstorming yo!

Not sure if you played gw1 but like gw2 a lot of skills could still only be used with certain weapons. So nackstab would still only be doable with dagger

More seriously, I don’t see why it’d be impossible to make a from-stealth attack with a greatsword. You can attack from stealth with everything, if you’re looking at it from a simulationist standpoint- It’s just an extra sneaky hit.

Why not a low sweep with the sword that cripples from the front and knocks down from behind? Nobody’d see that coming.

i do like the look of “Let’s get em” as a shout.

i think how that would transfer over to gw2 is – give swiftness and fury to up to 5 nearby allies, gain 2 strikes of adrenaline for every affected ally-

kind of the opposite of the guardians shout “retreat” which should really be renamed since no one ever uses it to retreat.

barely, but i do remember some classes not even having one viable none gimmicky meta build
