Another stupid RNG event?
Also noticed this. Looks like it’s time for the mail man to get to work again.
I was there from the beginning and did everything right. Got gold completion and was given some candy bags. No mask. Thought you were granted a mask the first time you did the event..
Disappointing. Just tie the mask to the achievement like all the other mini chests now…..

Why such bad RNG…
Anet should make it account bound. Kinda like what they did in guildwars 1. So all your chars can have the hat/mask

Same here. I was there for both times so far and no mask. Not in the spirit of the end of a holiday or last year at all. Keep that RNG garbage in the black lion chests where it belongs.
Its not RNG, its SUPPOSED to grant the mask. So its a bug.
You only get the mask when it procs the condition “The Mad king says. . .Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!”
