Anyone seen anybody set off Halloween fireworks? I’m sure guilds buy them with farmed money. But have yet to see any players buy them and using them.

Could the price be to High?

IF they where endless i would buy it but like much else in this game its a waste of money

If it is for the MF boost then a bonfire would be better.
If it is for the fireworks display … uh $3.75 for a couple of seconds of sparkles?

Saw someone setting off fireworks that I assumed was them so some must be buying them. I think it would make more sense to sell for New Years though.

They were holding some sort of barrel looking item and setting off fireworks so it wasn’t the ones from the dragon coffers.

Suggestion to Anet, How about removing the group buff on any new Halloween fireworks sold. Than drop the price to 5 for 100 gems.

This way everyone will actually get to see the fireworks.

unless they’re endless or the price drops a lot more then there’s no point in buying it.

I am aware of that but the bonfire sits around for a while. The fireworks sounds like it ONLY gives the buff to people who happen to be around when the firework ends. This makes the bonfire better. Longer duration and no need to sit around waiting for the fireworks to end.

Why not a Holiday version of the bonfire and cheap cosmetic holiday fireworks instead?

No, I am not buying the Halloween fireworks, because I don’t care about them.

I know you might not care about them. But they are meant to be seen. To add atmosphere to the halloween event. But no one wants to pay the cost to use them.

Anet put a lot of work into these items. But they also priced them too high to sell.

I’d buy the heck out of some permanent fireworks that didn’t give magic find, because I always hoarded fireworks for fun in GW1. Not ever gonna buy these though, unless they were like 10 cents or something.
