Dragon Bash nodes vs. Halloween doors
Actually I DID get my first BL Key drop in months on the first day of the labyrinth. Of course the only useful thing I got out of the chest was a MF Stone and opening just one chest didn’t make a dent in the stack sitting in my bank…but hey I finally got a key yay!?
Last year also had TONS of rich candy corn nodes everywhere in the human areas. Seems to me they have pushed the target a bit to far to the right with this one. Even a small chance at a skin or recipe would be welcome too, but if you don’t want to farm the labyrinth, you’re out of luck for much candy corn this year.

Yes… that too. I think some intermediate rewards (consumables for candy corn, for example) would have helped a lot. Now it’s either go big or go home, and I, for one, am going home.
The second point is not quite correct. The gemstore boxes(Rich Dragon Coffers) did not drop. They were gemstore only.
On the other hand the Halloween equivalent which is the Personalized Trick-or-Treat Bag(although they are not selling it this year) can be obtained by exchanging candy corn with the kids in LA.
The best is still Wintersday.
The doors don’t work the same way as last year.
*Last year we actually knocked on the doors.
*think we said “trick or treat” when knocking.
*more enemies popped out of them.
*Doors were in 1-70 zones.
*you could not enter doors until later in the event.

Yes, but the regular coffers which dropped as a green did have tickets (at small probability). For this Halloween, I don’t believe there are even such thing as tickets — it’s BLC RNG and that’s it.
This year it seems like the content went backwards, almost like whom ever work on the first Halloween event didn’t do this one. I’m not looking forward to future Holiday events if they are going to start removing rewards and open world stuff that made the first events “fun”. It feels like the first Halloween event was made by the old GW1 team and this one was given to some new guys.
Love the game, but if you’re going to recycle content, at least keep the content everyone loved and just add on to it every year.
P.S. What’s up with the lack of events in the Labyrinth? It just feels incomplete and where is the “Middle” event? It seems like there should be more there in my opinion.
