Guild Wars 2

I will begin by saying that I’m not in this game for the hardcore PvP or WvW experience. I’m in it for my friends, the character models, and testing how far I can get with my creativity.

I have been playing Guild Wars 2 on and off for the past year, and I just had my character’s first birthday a little over two weeks ago. I participated very little in the Halloween events last year, but I did put in money to buy two outfits, the Witch’s Outfit and the Mad King’s Outfit. Looking forward to this year’s potential for new costumes, I was disappointed when I saw two out of the four outfits from last year up in Black Lion once again. What are your opinions on this? Is there any way to prove that I bought the outfits last year, rather than this year? Do you think there should be some way for those who bought it last year to show that they “bought it first”?

If you want to prove that you were in last year Halloween event you can do it with the Witch Hat that they gave for free. They will probably give a different hat this year.

And that’s the only thing that I can say because you almost left me out of words…

They’re giving out the Mask of the Night this year instead of the (non-gem store) Witch Hat, so, yeah, that’s still 2012-exclusive.

I’m glad the Witch and Mad King outfits returned. Between the Witch Hat I linked above, Devil Horns, Phantom’s Hood, the Master Carver and Emissary of the Mad King titles, I think there are more than enough Halloween 2012-exclusive ways to show off.

i don’t understand… you just want to prove that you played last year. that’s why you are disappointed at the costumes? kinda petty if you ask me.

ps. the witch’kitten was ugly. im sure most of us threw it away. who cares about proving ur a vet in this game. just play it and have fun.

I think it’s nice they brought back the costumes for people who weren’t able to buy them last year. I bought them both and I’ve enjoyed an entire year with them, so that was my reward for buying them last year instead of this year.

And if I want to feel exclusive, I have those two titles and the clock tower achievement from last year to show off. You should read the flood of complaints that those didn’t return. :P

The title from last year is unique.
