There doesn’t seem to be any. If there are a ton of people in there then it seems to be fine. I am on a high population server, but I assume by now most players are done with Halloween. Which is fine.

I ran in there last night and today to try and close 5 doors for the achievement. This took me hours. It wasn’t fun and was frustrating. There were about 3-4 people including myself on the main server. All boss doors are out of the question and at one point no matter which side I would port back to and then reenter the Chainsword boss would almost be instantly there. I felt like I was being spawn camped in PVE. Kind of funny that I think about it now, but it certainly added to my frustrations.

Is there no scaling for this instance? If not, then why not? You can not turn a corner without facing 6 mummies and 3 skeleton archers all whom push and pull you around the instance until you are dead, or until the chainsword skeleton shows up and rips you a new one.

Just a suggestion Arena Net but you might want to look at scaling for this next year. It’s ok when there is a zerg of people inside but I can only imagine how this event plays out on low population servers.

I am rather sure that the whole area is supposed to be a “group-event” area, thus it won’t scale for less than group.

Keep in mind however that you can still get the doors in the open world.

The doors in the open world did not seem to count at all. I closed 4-5 to check and none of them counted towards this achievement.

Everything scales except for the enemies placed around the map. A level 80 should be capable of soloing through the area and doing any regular door events.

For the achievement, you have to close doors by doing their event. In the open world, doors only have a chance of starting an event, whereas it’s guaranteed in the Labyrinth.

The open world doors need an event to spawn for it to count. I did most if not all 50 in Queensdale.

The open world doors that count for closing the door seem to be constant as far as I can tell. The doors that count are the ones were multiple enemies come out and count as an event. There are 4 in Queensdale that I have found, they have a slower rate of spawning than the other doors. Three out of the four I have been able to close solo if needed. The fourth can be pretty rough.
