Ignoring the fact that the gem store isn’t even updated or working for some, there is no mention of costumes in the patch notes.

They mention the old costumes being updated to rare status, which for some reason, I have no idea why they did that. They are town clothing. Their rarity doesn’t matter.

But there is no mention at all of any new costumes. This is a Halloween event. Costumes are a big part of it. How can you make a Halloween event without introducing costumes to wear for it? Makes no sense.

And like I said, with the TP down/not updating, maybe they forgot to add them in the patch notes? I seriously hope that just forgot to add them to the patch notes. I don’t want to find out that they didn’t bother to make new costumes for this Halloween event.

Yeah I saw that, but even that is not mentioned in the patch notes. There is no mention whatsoever of costumes in the patch notes, except for old ones being upgraded to rare status.

Last year we got costumes on day 1 of the patch. Would seem silly to make us wait till half way through the patch before introducing the costumes.

Oh nice, I look forward to it! Yeah I was a little surprised to see no costumes too like most people on this thread, but there’s plenty to do while we wait. Happy Halloween!

Yep, I too was pretty disappointed by the lack of costumes. It’s something I was really looking forward to. I really hope they put some into the shop soon… I fear that we won’t be seeing one though, since it’s not even mentioned on the shop stuff on the front page. :\

Well, gem store finally updated and there is no new costumes. Not even the return of old costumes. Only the minis have been added.

Extremely disappointed.

Like last year, we got costumes on day one. They are costumes, not actual content. They should be out at the beginning of the update, not later down the road.

Actually, that’s untrue. We’ve had times when new costumes/armor from the Gem Store came out a week after a patch, like certain town clothes and those new armor skins.

EDIT: That said, I’m dreading that next week will come without any new or old halloween outfits. I hope that’s not the case.

Except those weren’t introduced with a patch. They were randomly given.

I’m talking about Halloween costumes from last year and Wintersday costumes from last year as well. The costumes that came with the holiday were introduced on day one. Not half way through the event.

You are talking about costumes that weren’t tied to an event. I’m talking about costumes that are tied to events.

Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised if Anet stuck with waiting a week like they have been for quite a while now.

I remember last year and lucky I got the witch’s costume although getting the Mad King 1 would’ve been nice this year. I also got the titles (for achieves) but the point is ppl complaining because something isn’t out yet. Give ANET time to implement everything, and I seriously doubt it’ll take midway through event for all the content. Patience is required because what else have you got? GAME ON

They’re coming, guys. Executioner, Blood Prince, goofy hats. Maybe the old costumes too.
