Why are the costs for the new mats so high? What sort of things or problems were you trying to avoid by making the halloween gifts cost 100 000 rare materials each?

The fact that there were millions of the other materials around for quite some time after last Halloween most likely.

I thought they had learned that we were disheartened by Dragon Bash 100k taffy for wings but…guess not.

Yeah, I think this is a huge mistake. Way to make a fun time of the year disappointing.

Edit: FYI, ANet I like getting new stuff, I like new looks, I don’t like grinding forever for them.
