With all the commotion that has been going on the last few days from raging players about the insane cost of candycorn to the mostly well received responses of the Bloody Prince-there is one individual who seems to have flown under the radar.

Well I am here to right this wrong and call attention to this very important and (in)famous citizen of Tyria. Welcome to Lion’s Arch, Maklain the Minstrel! May your beggar’s cup be filled with many shiny coins.

But seriously, thanks for bringing back these oddball characters. You even had him walk around and sing (terribly) songs of the Mad King. You didn’t have to, but you did and that is awesome.

That is great, I noticed the singing as well and love it. Though I haven’t noticed hobo-tron’s return. Is he back? If so, where?

I thought Marcello was the guy who traveled with Hobo-tron, not Maklain ?

Yup, what Atlas says is true. Maklain is a npc that could be previously found in Cursed Shore-Meddler’s Summit, and if you asked him nicely he would hum a little tune for you….badly.

He is one of the reasons why I MUST talk to every npc with a name. You never know what stupid/crazy thing they are going to do/say.

Maklain the Minstrel is awesome. I followed him around Lions Arch last night to listen to the tune. It made me wish the minstrel town cloths and the lute were in the gem store. Maybe some day!
