People in map chat are indicating they received enough Finishers in the mail to complete the A Stomping Good Time achievement wherein you must use 20 Scarecrow or Mad King stomps. I did not get a mail including these and would like to complete this achievement. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I’ve been told these finishers drop from mobs in the labyrinth and from candy bags. Can anyone confirm?
My husband and I both got one with 5 uses.

You get mailed 5 of them, 1 has 5 usage, so 5×5=25, more than enough for the Achievement

If you didn’t get any you can go get them off mobs in the labyrinth. Also, it ticks when you cast, so if you cancel midcast, you can spam it over and over for one-use. You also don’t need to pvp, you can use the bots in the mist that let you down them.

1 finisher = 5 charges…so 5 of them gives you 25.

Solution: do the containment achievement.
I just did it and received 4XLimited-Use Scarecrow Finishers. That with the 5-use one I had from before and I’m golden.

I only got the 4 scarecrow finishers. figured that was normal, as the ach requires 20, and that gave 20, and they are only consumed when they are used, so that is enough.
I do know I logged in on an alt, and saw a mail come in, but then switched to my main, figuring I’d get whatever mail was related to the update there instead. I’ll check the alt’s mail tonight.
notebene is correct. you can cancel finishing and still get credit for using it (even though you didn’t consume it). I still have 20 scarecrow finishers yet and I have completed the ach. also, yeah, mists training npc. dulfy says the devs know about that bug and will fix in a patch.

Well, Ive used up all 4, but only have 10 credited uses. Either it doesnt count if someone else stomps him first, it’s bugged, or they expired over time before I could get 20 kills.

I’m thinking I won’t be completing that achievement any time soon, if ever, considering they are also being reported as not always registering for the achievement when used.

Do you have other characters? You might have received the mail on the first one you logged in that day and may not show up on others.
