This is
1) Half the spawn rate of the bosses.
2) Double the spawn rate of the other doors.
This will make it a lot more like the Labyrinth last year, which was my favorite PvE event in the history of the game.
I’d say add daily rare and chance of craftable halloween skin on the legendary bosses, adjust the hp scaling to a normal rate and let the “single veteran spawn” door events scale up to a champion if there are enough ppl in the area.
Atm the bosses take so boringly long to kill and everything gives such crappy loot that I just can’t get myself to go back in there now that I finished the achievement grind.
Champs at normal door events (the ones that usually spawn vets, not the swarms) would be fantastic. Not only would it help the loot rate, which would be nice in making it any way comparable to the other “champ trains”, but it would also make it easier to get the events done (sometimes in a big zerg if you’re lagging behind a bit the event will die by the time you even get there).
I don’t approve of dropping the spawn rate of the bosses, though. For people zerging for hours the bosses might get annoying, but for people who just want to get in and kill the boss for achievements, having them spawn with some frequency is a very good thing. Having to wait around for hours to get a boss to spawn always sucks, especially in this event where you actually need to complete the meta-achieve to open up the other part of the story.

I have to agree. I haven’t quite understood much of the complaining I’ve seen, but the Grand Vizier is a pain in the bum. Some of my favorite bosses in the game (GL, fotm grawl shaman, etc) have a REASONABLE amount of health and have abilities that are dangerous and need to be avoided/mitigated, but do not literally 2-shot players who start at100% health.
The difficulty really arises with the sheer number of players, making it exceptionally difficult to see where the projectiles will land. On the flip side, the candy corn spikes that form can virtually be ignored. While I understand you can’t quite make him a multi-phase boss similar to GL I think a better balance of abilities (and significantly less health) might make GV a bit more fun.
