Okay so so far halloween has been a rehash of last year with one event taken out and one small instance where you fight the prince and get a candy corn pet added in. Is that it? Is there no new dungeon? Last year we got to kill the mad king over and over with a chance of some decent drops. Everyone was speculating that instead we may be fighting the prince. I there a chance it will come later or now that the Mad King showed up for Mad King Says or is that it?

I think it’s safe to say we’ve seen all there is to Halloween this year now. If there were anything else, it would have been teased by this point, at the very least. They wouldn’t suddenly unveil a dungeon on Halloween without any build up to it because the surprise factor wouldn’t be worth the trade-off in anticipation. (Not to mention all the grouchy players who would miss it without any advance notice.)

As above, I think that’s it. If there were going to be something, they would have almost certainly mentioned it by now.

Seems that the listened to the people complaining about the “constant festivals” and decided to downsize Halloween and focus on other content instead. Not what I would have preferred personally, but then Halloween is my favorite holiday so maybe I’m just biased :p

I have my napkins out.. I have been QQ since yesterday…..this years Halloween compared to last years has put me into a cry baby mode….so give me a bottle and some napkins.. because this year was a horrible trick no treat.. No Skins unless you buy keys and open black lion chest.. seems little money hungry ,but Halloween is not over but if it is ..I will grab my cry baby bottle and qq.. I was hoping we would get something like last year nice little insta dungeon to farm skins..instead I feel my time will be spent running champ train..

It’s not even a true rehash. The scavenger hunt is gone, the meta events are gone, too. Just not the same.

This is a weak offering compared to last year.

this halloween does not even compare to last year i got alot of skins from blc but sucks for ppl not willing to pay for them

so they removed the only Halloween funny content instead of the useless Mad King Says? GG A-net

It just makes you wonder what’s going through their heads, considering this pushes people away and doesn’t attract more people to the game.

There has to be more incentive for people to keep playing. It would seem to me that the happier the regular player base is the more people will be attracted to the game over time.

Don’t forget Reaper’s Rumble is missing, insane amounts of mats needed for anything (10k+) with CC nodes being extremely limited.

This Halloween is just bad. Not sure (but definitely not surprised they did) how they could go backwards from last years.

Removal of Reaper’s Rumble, removal of Ascent to Madness and removal of the nice Mad Memories lore based scavenger hunt. Not sure why the first two were removed, the third would still work if they edited it appropriately.

Combine this with an extreme weapon crafting requirement and an astronomical Bloodprince mini/Halloween pail cost, it has become a horrid grind fest.

I still love Halloween, but this years seems quite lackluster and disappointing in comparison to the last.

worst holiday event i’ve ever seen, i wanted to play reaper’s rumble again
