Really? Becuase in GW1 we got a green weapon of our choice from thier own group of skins for completing a campaign.

In GW2 we get one rare for completing campaign. If GW2 rewarded as well as 1 then it would have been an ascended weapon of our choice (or at least an exo pre-ascended).

GW2 has worse loot. Fact.

As for the box, well I tell you what it won’t be. It won’t be an ascended stat item, and likely won’t even be an exotic. I’m guessing it will be some kind of consumable/booster.

I always disliked the whole pure cosmetic rewards thing that GW1 did. I pretty much quit the game after exhausting all of the content. I don’t think that every upgrade has to be statistically better, thus creating a constantly evolving gear treadmill. However once in a while, I do like getting a reward that has some functional use.

I am glad that GW2 chose to go a route that provides content for both groups. The people like me can pursue functional upgrades like ascended gear and the people that want cosmetics can pursue that.

I just find the complaints on this particular score in GW2 to be amusing, is all. To hear players gripe that there’s vertical progression creeping into the game and in the same breath whine about the lackluster rewards for content. Let’s say a boss chest guaranteed you one exotic. So what?

That’d help getting ascended gear on 8 characters in a reasonable timeframe.

Getting perfect equipment for every character in GW1 wasn’t done in 2 days either. It was pretty time consuming.

Not at all, in fact getting perfect equipment for every possible character can easily be done in 2 days in GW1 lol.

Every character with superior health runes, all weaponsets, all useful skills?
Okay. I guess I did something wrong because I played with a major health rune on my main character up until nightfall iirc.

Don’t forget that you needed to grind up titles

Yes, I have never played GW1, how does that invalidate peoples complaints of poor loot in GW2? Just because the loot was bad in GW1 doesn’t make it ok for it to be the same in GW2

Possibly the data mined name “spooky packs” will be RNG backs this year. Kinda hope its like dragon bash where you’d get them in game but also could buy better ones from the Gem store.

wow..if it is the same box or coffin, which im not sure, i don’t see red jewels on the sides like i do with the box….but that supposedly has the Khan-Ur’s body in it…has the Khan-Ur joined forces with the Mad King?
