I’m finding that there appears to be an issue where using an aspect power results in my death. Not because I’ve missed where I was aiming & fallen, just as I use a power to do something relatively basic.
The platforms that step upwards from the Wind aspect guy, today leaping from the 2nd to the 3rd killed me. I hit the button to jump & ended up dead on the platform right where I was standing.
The later, collecting the crystals from around the Lightning aspect guy. Jumping up for the Crystal on top of the upright bamboo pole. Perfect landing on the top & then, BANG, dead on the pole top!
I am entirely capable of killing myself here, I really do not need assistance!
Anyone else having this issue?

I’ve run into this before during the sanctum sprint. Spamming the lightning skill too quickly seems cause this and I don’t run into it if I actually wait to land before hitting the key again. Basically you can’t chain jumps back to back with no time in between without dying after the 3rd or 4th time.

It’s a desync issue, you see yourself on top, the server thinks you fell and died.

Happens to me a lot on that wind jump bit too. Around 25% of the time is certain death, whereby I press “1” but instead of jumping just die instantly.

Then people at ground level can revive me and I stand back up on the platforms. And ANet expects people with these issues to actually compete in that Sanctum Sprint. <shrug>
