Does Belcher's Bluff care about stats?

Are all the effects based on % HP or is it based on direct HP? I’ve been using a fairly low HP Ele to try this content, would I have an easier time with a higher HP character?

It’s all percentage based, there are no advantages for having less or more health.

Thanks, I was just wondering since some guides talked about taking a lot of drinks and just dealing with it, while it only takes maybe 5 or so drinks to get from full to dead.
