Do to lag screwing up 90%+ of the new mechanics.

Nothing works, I can’t make jumps and I end up rubber banding with the speed boost.

I’m not sure what I can do. shrugs

Anyone else having these issues?

Was fine first couple runs, after that was spell lag, rubber banding & all the usual botherations.

I don’t have any problems with lag “knock on wood”.

I have 100/100 fiber and an okay PC.
But during the beginning of Halloween and wintersday, and not to speak of the first Karka attack on LA I had realy wierd and continuing lag/Rubberbanding, could be some massive usage on the servers making some of us lag?
If you have troubleshooted your PC and your own internet and that didn’t do it maby just wait it out alittle so all the hype has cooled down a little and lessen the server load maby?

I have fibre but these new events always lag for me at the start. Try using ping zapper or something similar. The free versions will boot you every hour or so but that’s long enough to get loads of runs in before you have to relog

I don’t have lag problems but I can’t properly use Lightning Pull. Every single time I target a platform and my character ends up way ahead of where I was meant to land. I’m missing lots of crystals due to this problem.
Extremely frustrating… =/

Yeah it took me a while to figure lightning pull out! Keep your right mouse button held down for the whole run so you don’t accidentally ground target when pressing 3 and when your going to make the jump ensure the pylon your jumping to is glowing purple. If its not, dodge back then run back into the lighting markings on the floor with the camera facing the pylon and you should see it start to glow. Then press 3 and weeeeeeeee!

I was on when the patch first hit, but I’ve been at work ever since. When I tried it then it was fine, I’ll try it out again when I get home and see how it is.

Tip with regards to the lightning pull – DON’T try using the fortune items here because I noticed if you get the speed burst buff it will throw you past the target area – NOT COOL.

I should imagine normal speed bursts might do this too so take care.
