Just mined it this morning (a couple minutes ago) and got 1 charged quartz crystal and 8 quartz crystals.

Yep… got a charged from it. Sweet.

I got a charged the first mine as well but never again lol.

I got 8 regular today.

Got a charged from my first mine too. I wonder if it’s a one-time thing?

Wow, so it’s worth it after all… I need to hurry up with those achievements…

I just completed the achievement to get the crystal node in my home town but I cant seem to find it. (The grove and ive checked all 4 leels of the kitten place!!)

Do i need to wait for the next reset for it to appear? or am i missing something?

You shouldn’t. If you are having problems finding it in The Grove it should be available for all your characters’ home instances. So if you have another race available try that. The Norn one is easy, it’ right by a WP in the lodge.

You don’t need to go to your respective races home instance. I mine mine in any town on my Asura.

Ah right i didnt realise you had to go into the instance. Brilliant thanks ive found it now.

Today 3 regular and 1 charged.

I’ve gotten charged 2 or 3 times, nothing extra once, 5 extra (8 total) twice. Seems each has a chance, but not limited to x lifetime occurrences.

I know you can use any mining pick to mine the nodes, including the home node, has anyone noticed a pattern though? The times I use my molten pick I get extras, I used a copper pick on an alt and only got the standard 3. Considering its only been a few days, certainly not definitive testing, which is why I’m wondering if anyone has gotten charged/5x extra with copper mining picks, etc.

Wow, some of you people are just lucky. Mined it 3 times now and each time, 3x Quartz Crystal.
