I would just like to point out that even tho it is fun playing in
Bazzaar, it seems to get kinda costly because of dying all the time, or
at least I do anyways. So if it was possible to make the waypoints free,
like they are in major cities, it would be most helpful. I spent over 3gold
so far from dying. But I will keep trying tho, for it is a good challenge that
I really like doing, but unfortunately I won’t be able to much longer for I am
running out of gold. It just a suggestion that would be much appreciated
if it was considered.

Just do a few events that trigger from playing with the merchant’s items. Or play a few rounds of Sanctum Sprint. That will get you your money back.

One round of Sanctum Sprint earns about 12s if you count the green you are going to get to sell as well. That is not counting the value you are getting in karma and crystals.

I know it is not what you are asking for but it is a way to mitigate your loss trying to get those sky crystals.

Not to mention you have a small chance of getting one of the rare skins which at is a few gold at least.

Get your low level alt there if you have it. Only way.

Keep in mind you can usually waypoint before you hit the ground, though this still has a cost associated with it. =/

Do note that your armor doesn’t break from deaths by falling. Thus, the only costs for the new zone are waypoint’s and if you get killed by one of the Champion events.

Basically, if you die from falling a lot, just ask for a rez, usually people are awesome and will come help you out.

Also try using the number 2 skill just before you hit the ground. I have saved myself a few times that way.

Thank all for the great tips, I will try them out as I am going for those darn
crystals, that seem to be out of reach. I will try the no# 2 skill for sure maybe
that will work for me as well.

If you have a necro, take them in instead of your main. Death Shroud will save you from a fall of any height and good timing of Spectral Walk can do the same (start Spectral Walk before you try a jump, reactivate it if you miss for instant do-over, or activate it twice in rapid succession when you are close to the ground).

Life force isn’t an issue because of other people falling to their deaths.

I didn’t count the money I lost so I can’t complain :p Got lessons of the sky without consulting any guides.

It probably would have been a much better map if they had made all the WPs free. It’s pretty lame that they didn’t decide to do that, considering that this really isn’t a combat map (there is no reason to fight the skale). Honestly, this content update looks like it was designed by John Smith. There are so many things in it that seem to have no purpose other than to force things out of the economy (recipes, WP gold sinks etc). It’s silly that a low level alt or a necromancer are so appealing because of a design decision/oversight (similair to taking your armour off for the boulder trap in CoF p1).

There are 2 ways to make waypoints free… already posted about it in another thread. Not sure why people don’t think about it for a little bit instead of complaining.

Also, since achievement chests now give free gold, it may be better for the economy if the majority of people don’t figure out how to use free waypoints in the bazaar

I use a lvl 9 alt. His WP fees are like 8c. Upleveled to 80 and plenty of champions and veterans to kill help an alt too.

You could also wait on the ground for someone to resurrect you. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been on my way to res someone, or already there, and then they waypointed out and I’ve seen it happen to other people a lot too.

It’s a pretty populated map so unless you’re way out the way at a quiet time you won’t have to wait long at all.

Sure you have to walk back up, but unless you were right by the upper waypoint it won’t make a huge difference.
