Guild Wars 2

I tried to do the kite in the night yesterday. I tried to start the event but the charr scholar would always tell me he is busy so i followed the wiki and read all his 3 books, still the only response was not to temper whit his work. Tried to talk to him and the same response as before. Still the gate was closed and nothing i done had any impact on him. Is there a event cool down for this or is it bugged ? thnx

I had issues with not being able to interact with the door, but it fixed itself. Only thing I can think of is maybe someone had just finished doing the event when I tried the first time since about 10 minutes later it was fine.

Same experience as Lane, seemed not to work but after 10 minutes or so the inscriptions became readable and we could fetch the quest starter.

The gate is on a cooldown after the event finishes. Once the gate is interactable, you read the inscription and then go talk to NPC and read his 3 books and quest starts.
