Just relax, there are more than five people playing the game, if they sent it to everyone at once then people would be complaining about how slow and laggy everything was. :P

Just got mine, Lightening. Seems random as to which you get which Is nice. I’ll be looking at picking up the other if the price is reasonable.

I noticed that in LA next to the guild bank the NPC is also named Guild Kite Maker or something like that. No kite there yet but I think we’ll see this Tuesday perhaps or the next update.

If you haven’t gotten one yet, be patient (I know it hard) they are coming in waves like the free mini’s that were handed out.

What time frame? I can’t find information on this.

I bought 6 lots of gems in the timeframe and no kite yet.
Im only nervous as everyone in LA is flying theirs…

Awesome I lov it. I wondered what that mail was I got in the middle of a race. I saw someone with one later and didn’t check my mail. I started searching the gem store and the TP for them until I saw the OP. I love when they give things like this. They look awesome even though mine is purple I think. I’m color blind but I’m pretty sure it is.

Definitely worth asking for gem cards to redeem as gifties throughout the year! Hubby and I have been giving each other gem cards for birthdays and holidays and whenever so good way to go to keep in the loop for things like this.

Is it real money for gems for the time frame? Guessing so. Haven’t spent real money on gems in a while. Hopefully they go for sale soon.

Am I the only person that finds this to be rather crappy. My last gem purchase was in March. Since launch I spent more on gems than I would probably spend on wow in a year…. but they only give them to people that spent money within a specific time frame.

It’s not the fact I don’t get a kite, it’s just the … crappyness of how they are being issued that bothers me.

And then they will add them to the gem store so those of us that spent more than enough money on the game already and go and spend more to buy a kite. Just seems… crappy.

If you bought gems since launch then you should have gotten the last gift when they gave out minis at the start of Dragon Bash. So that would have been your appreciation gift for that time frame.

For anyone who supposedly has not received their free kite, please check your email box to make sure you don’t have 10 email messages saved in it. Your mailbox only allows a maximum of 10 messages; the 11th and future messages are never displayed until you delete some of your old email.
