so what are the rewards? more skill points? potential precurser? food? the suspense is killing me!!!!! but in all seriousness please Dev. don’t make this a crappy reward I did not do your scavenger hunt for skill points because skill points are the easiest to earn do CoF 8 Times and you have the skill points.

A mini-pet according to the rewards section of the announcement page.

Event page says a “miniature model” if the picture is anything to go by I don’t think its a pet. Just an item to be able to travel back to the ship at any time after the event is gone (probably reusable similar to the journal we got this past event).

Travel? nope. It says view the ship at anytime. Its just a model of the ship after all.

nice, it’s not huge but nevertheless exciting: a new reward category. Miniatures of Jumping Puzzles. How the lore nerd in me would love something about the history of that place…

If the housing rumors are anything to go by, maybe you will be able to place the Zephyr Sanctum Model in your home instance?

Best rewards would be skins, food, or here’s an outlandish thought, something new & permanent maybe. So a zone, even just a ship with new lore and hopefully story that somehow ties to any big, epic threats to Tyria (dragons?) and not another silly outlaw group, would be much welcome. A new story that is going somewhere would be a much better reward than any item drop, imo.

Scavenger hunt will no doubt be fun. No special rewards needed if it’s fun to play-through imo.
Though I think I’m just getting tired of waves silly badguys and minievents from Living Story and hope for something with a better story that will have a permanent effect on the world…

Actually neither of the 2 examples given are any fun for lots of players. Each to their own!

Miniatures are just a fun little item to have. But miniatures need their own place in the collection tab so they don’t take up bank space.

They do have their own place in the collections tab. Every time they release a new mini they add a new space for it.

I love my “real life”, I’m here to have some fun whenever I have spare time since Guild Wars 2 is available 99% percent of the time.

As far as we know there are nothing that suggests that this will be anything else.

It’s been confirmed that it is a miniature model of the Zephyr Sanctum, not a minipet.

Look at “Lessons From the Sky”

At least if it was a mini(pet), there would be a place in the bank for it. This, like Marjory’s Journal, takes up inventory space without really doing anything (just taking one back to a cutscene / forever deleted content). While I thought the Marjory scene was really fun, a playback button is not really something worth the inventory space…

I agree, Hedix.

I wish the item would be a consumable that unlocked a tab in the hero’s story panel (right next to the personal story log) that allowed you to revisit the cutscenes from the UI, rather than needing to clog inventory slots.
