I got 1st in Sanctum sprint (on score board I was the top player, I got there first)

but didn’t get the achievement

is this a bug?

Your race might have been converted into a practice run. It happens when the race started late…it tells you on the announcement with big letters in the middle of your screen.

If that’s not the case, then it is probably a bug.

It even said You placed first! and no it wasn’t a practive run, I got a screenie, I will upload it

Someone crossed the finish line before you and left the race, which makes your name appear as top player in the credits at the end, but doesn’t actually count you as first. The score for crossing first is 175, not 165. You can tell 145 and 95 are also missing from the credits, which means those players also left the race instance before the race itself was done.

But you can see I was first as I have the highest amount of points, because the total wasn’t 175 it was 165

It doesn’t matter if you had the top score at the time the race finished. First place awards 175 points total. Some people don’t want to wait around for everyone else to finish so after they get their reward they leave and enter a new race instead of waiting the 1-4 min it can take for every other racer to finish.

Though it is odd that the max score only said 165 instead of 175. I’ve only done it 25 times and I haven’t seen someone in first leave first hand so I don’t know if it drops back down or not.

Well I was first but someone left before anyone finished first, so the points I got was 165,wich was total. I think that’s why

No, if you cross first you get 175 points and not 165. Whoever crossed first left the race before you crossed the finish line. But apparently now you did get first place proper, so congrats!

It happened to me before. I finished 4th at the race and was first in points somehow. Achievement is first for the race, not first at the score.

What another person stated is accurate. You finished the race in 2nd Place. The 1st place finisher left the race after he finished. You ALWAYS get 175 Points for 1st Place, 165 Points for 2nd Place, 155 Points for 3rd Place, etc….

But I did finish first, If I was second and someone left it would say 175 in the right and 165 on my score, so it’s not that.

You’re mistaken. If you were in first you would have gotten 175. Someone beat you and left the game.

You get the title the moment you cross the finish line first, you don’t have to wait for thes core if my memory serves me correctly. I finished in 6th one time and a lot of people left leaving me with the highest score when the match ended.

If the first player leaves, the highest possible score is 165, so that will show on the right, instead of the normal 175. First place is always 175. You’ll also know you got first because you get slightly “better” loot (a tiny amount of extra silver and karma I think) than the normal chest.
