Guild Wars 2

I got first place in the Sanctum Sprint, and was not awarded the achievement for doing so. I took a screenshot of my first place win if it’s needed, but I’d really like the achievement awarded to me, as I did win. Anyone else have this happen?

Also, how do you report this bug in game? There is no option to report a bugged achievement…

I alway thought the first to finish got 175 points.
Maybe the actual first person left, thus displaying you on top
of the leaderboard.

Also, it said 165/165 for me and at the end of the race, I got the popup that told me I came in first….

175 is 1st place. The 1st person left, making you appear 1st.

When I got the achievement I never got the pop up for it. I think it took the timer on the race to finish for it to register though. As I didn’t get it immediately as I crossed the finish line like the top 3 one. But when I looked in the achievement menu it showed up.

But yeah 175 is the “top score.” So it may be more likely there was someone in front of you that got first and left. But I thought that it still showed their names in the score list though.

Strange though if there was literally no one in front of you it looks like it might of bugged.

If the person who gets first leaves the instance after they cross the finish line, they no longer show up in the scoreboard even though they already claimed the rewards of first. I only know because I once got to watch all the higher placing people disappear and then I looked like I was first on the scoreboard when I knew I very much wasn’t.

Might this have happened to you too?

Its because you did not finish first. First place will ALWAYS have 175 points

someone finished before you and probably left because they were done with their achievement.

theres no chest for finishing first

however there is one for completing 15 races (well a loot bag)

and there is a chest at the end of the race that you can loot regardless of position in the race

Ah, OK thanks. Must have just gone into my inventory without me noticing (I have auto-loot on). I thought it was odd that I got a chest every time I didn’t come first … just thought maybe the title was the prize, lol.

Well I feel silly, I just got it with 175. I thought it bugged on me. Thanks, guys!
