In the first of my 25 sprints, my best time of reaching the finish line was with 4:27 left on the clock. A recent decision to capture some of my faster runs since then has produced this: my fastest sprint, completing the course in only three minutes.

People who are slow or don’t know what to do in this arena, I suggest you watch and learn a thing or two! People who are fast, I encourage you to take this and use it to make improvements to this not-yet-perfect run.

True enough. That’s a little bit of a risky play that I haven’t experimented with quite yet.

Yeah for both platfroms you can press 1 and 2, its not too hard

Good job indeed but how about skipping the last “shortcut” and actually beating it in just 3 minutes by crossing the finishing line from the correct side? I, myself is working on it right now and will post a video when I’ve done it. 3:01 (4:59 on timer) is the best so far I’ve made 100% legit.

why do so many people take that lower route?
Is there a reason not to just grab that sun crystal to the left and Launch-roll the entire strip? (I’ll record it if anyone’s not clear on how it works)

Some advise for you to make it quicker.
0:52 grab sun crystal
1:17 grab air crystal and jump up to the platform to get orange crystal and sun crystal or just save the jump at the door for sun crystal
2:26 grab the sun crystal beside you
2:45 choose the right path not left

Thanks. The only thing I did not know was the huge shortcut at the end near 3:20. Other stuff seemed obvious and only about improving your movement and the order and choice of stuff you pic up.

My best time in this annoying race is 2:30. Too luck based with powerups
