Guild Wars 2

There’s a bit at the end of the race that if you pick up the Jump buff you can just jump up the cliff and avoid all the end loop of the course.. Is this intended?? As I dont like cheating at things and it feels when you race a clean race and get to the finish line and see someone sitting there cos they skipped the whole end loop its a bit unfair??

If anything it seems like an exploit to me that players should be getting punished for!

There was a discussion a few days ago. It is kind of a gray area IMO. I don’t use it myself but I have seen plenty people use it. All my wins I didn’t use. Of course I won’t say I never used the fake power-ups.

Oh I wasn’t trying to be one of those “try using the search function” people because I know the search function is 1 click away from totally useless.

I just thought since your post didn’t get much in the way of discussion I would point you there.

WHY would Anet put a jump-buff there if it wasn’t intended? It’s the end of the race so no other place to use it on. I say it’s no cheat just because of what I just said.
