I really don’t get the point of the merchant standing in between the two vote boxes on the ship at the Plaza of Peace. Ok they’re good for people who haven’t come across a Support Token yet, but I very highly doubt that this would be an issue considering that they drop so frequently in the world. So much so, that they probably shouldn’t be classified as a rare drop.

Asides selling stuff (which he allows and few other merchants do in that area, most just trade for goods and don’t allow offloading of basics/green/blues, etc. like other merchants), I’m struggling to see the point of why this guy would have the need to sell support tokens; it just seems very unnecessary.

I’m unsure what’s so secret about his purpose. It’s a simple gold sink for people that feel like buying a ton of votes, if they’re so inclined to try to help a candidate win.

Already heard of people spending tons of gold buying votes.

Any sufficiently advanced skill is indistinguishable from luck.

Gold sink. Also, because that way you can buy the election. (Just like real life!)

He provides an invaluable service. Parting money from certain players.

Gold sink is indeed important

It might not be very effective, but it’s simple and functional.
