Stolen Kite Baskets
Thieving skritt have pilfered a handful of Kite Baskets from the Sanctum. Players can locate these at the top of several jumping puzzles throughout Tyria and open them for extra rewards.

I’ve done 3 jumping puzzles that have the big kites at the end, and have not been able to click on the basket to open it. All I can do is talk to the skritt.

Is this a bug?

Edit: Looks like they changed it from being lootable to just being an achievement.

That’s what I thought, I was under the impression thwe baskets were supposed to be an easy way to get fortunes, but none of the baskets are ever useable.

Yeah, I wasn’t able to loot those baskets either. I got the achievements for finding them, but couldn’t loot any of them. I hope they fix the bug.

The patch notes clearly state extra achievement points (which is what we get).

Oh….OH… I also assumed they aren’t lootable. I was never able to interact with even one of them o.O
Or do they mean the achievement points you get by discovering them?

But it is not literally possible to “open” them (by pressing F or whatever)? It just comes with it when you find them?
Because I couldn’t do anything with these baskets.

Pretty sure that if you have already looted a basket then when it appears again and you loot it the bags pop out but sink into the floor and are not lootable again until some form of reset.

We are talking about the baskets at the end of the jumping puzzles which are tied to the kite achievements.
Not the open world baskets where you can loot the bags from..

Each basket is account-bound once a day. This means that making new characters will not let you open the same basket again.
