Seriously.

I loved all in this new content. The Scavenger hunt its very cool ( and some hard, very nice), The Sprint Sancutm its all-based on skill, and nothing on luck, very nice!

By the way, the fortune kittens are PERFECT. Even having a really bad luck, and never get a Rich fortune scrap, or some 50x common fortune scrap, people can grind until get the sufficient amount to buy what they want. (Not alikely dragon coffers, where a lot of people opened 5k+, and never got anything).

The belchers bluff activity its a lot of fun, yesterday I’ve been playing with other player in mytic plazza, and had been a very good battle, a good ammount of people stoped only to see us play, and cheer.

All Achievments are skill-based, and personnal obtained, very nice!

The new map its a lot of fun, and very beauty, as the new movement are very cool!

So.. I only have to Thank for this patch, very nice for me.

And for the “Ever-crying” people:
- If you don’t like jumping puzzles, its sample : Don’t play it.
- If you are a luck dependent, and don’t liked the fortune kitten, learn how to really PLAY the game. GO hunt some mobs and get some kittens. You are able to grind it, and if get lucky, get a intantly reward with rich fortune scraps.
- If you are not good with belchers bluff, or Sanctum Sprint, this is YOUR FAULT. They are both a skill game, and not a luck game. So.. go learn how to play. this depend only on you, and no in a group skill alikely the aetherblade dungeon.

well, sanctum sprint may be a bit difficult for people with high latency due to region, such as, australia, etc.

Lies and deceit. Especially the parts about Belcher’s Bluff and Sanctum Sprint.

hahaha Lost it hard at “Belcher’s bluff is completely Skill based”

Yes this update is great.. No being bad at Belcher’s bluff is not your fault, Anton or whatever his name is stacks the odds in his favor and the only real way to win is to interrupt his heal 4 times and not get interrupted by his shout 4 times, which is 100000% luck.

Will the Real Pink Puma Please stand up?

I truely do enjoy the new content, the new skins are nice. The achievements are tough but possible. I cant see how anyone who paid money for this game can complain. Its kinda like four games in one to me. WvW, PvP, PvE, and of course silly role playing with random people. The new map is like a jumping puzzle, but not tricky like the actual JPs. The UI for the achievements is great. The new PvP map is awesome fun. Whats not to like? Anet is moving forward with a great game that is growing better and better. This is not a finished product, it is a work in progress. I am excited to see how great they can make this game.

While I was nervous about this one, it was largely unwarranted. There is a lot to do, and ‘still’ do even though I have my 16. The race is ‘really’ fun and at 9-11s per race completion, something worth repeating while it’s around.

Sanctum sprint is based on 30% skills and 70% latency (high latency: expect a lot of lose due to rubber banding, skills which are not fired). I would rather play dragon ball (as rubber banding only affect you when you use jump pad/leap pad), than sanctum sprint.

Stop reading there sorry.

It’s luck based on connection and power ups.

After I got first and stopped trying to win. I was running at a steady pace at 10th. Got one of those check point teleport power ups and was automatically first.

Agree with this. Luck for powerups, luck for connection (especially for people who live far from the server). If you want skill > dragonball, wintersday mayhem (or whakittens name), halloween PvP. Now that is skill.

Have to agree, one of the best updates I have ever had the pleasure of playing in. Everything was fun yet still challenging. I felt the rewards fit the efforts.

I only just had the chance to see the new content last night and the new zone is visually stunning.

Of course, we’re used to great visuals with GW2 but this zone’s ability to convey the sense of HEIGHT is truly well done.

I intended to just run up to get the waypoint and ended up getting constantly distracted with the events, random mobs, NPC dialog and all the interesting and amusing knicknacks.

I haven’t followed the story yet, I just hope the plotline is not blocked from casual players by the difficulty level of the content as the Aetherblade storyline was. What I saw of the new zone so far embraces the inclusive feeling I’ve come to expect of GW2, where all players can enjoy it.

I have to agree for the most part. I like this update more than the previous ones. The RNG type items are less obnoxious and are in a good spot now. The zone is beautiful and plays like a jumping puzzle. I like the music. The 2 new mini games are great (yay roller beetle racing). The content feels more engaging.

However, the lore has issues, I’ve had a lot of problems with some of the aspect skills, I sorta wish champions wouldn’t spawn in the marketplace (people just leave them alive), and personal peeve is that some of the audio has issues.
