The good and the bad
I like the ability to buy the new back skins from the TP, it’s much better than the ticket system. I like the ability to choose/unlock achievement point rewards and re-use them (even though I dislike the skins), it’s much better than a consumable system (even if it means intense amounts of grind to acquire more and more items). I like the aesthetics of the new map, Canthan themed content will always be a win in my books.
I dislike the way they are going about the new armour stats (both in this content and previous content). I shouldn’t have to work harder for the same tier of gear as someone who’s build is favoured by easily acquired gear. There is always going to be a disparity as long as gear uses different materials to craft and different dungeons to obtain them, but the new gear stats (despite being the same tier) takes this too far.
I dislike recycling old content and packaging it as new content in the form of JP achievements as part of the Living Story achievements. The monthly jumping puzzle achievement is a much better form of this. The kites/caches don’t add anything new to the puzzles, they shouldn’t have achievements in the Living Story section. Living Story achievements should be all new content.
I dislike temporary content. I can understand festivals, but content like this seems silly to take away. I dislike playing on someone else’s timetable and I feel like temporary content takes away the power to choose when and how much I will play if I want to access things.
I dislike content which strongly favours the TP and power trading. The game already heavily favours TP players, the first hours after the patch details were revealed strongly favoured TP flippers who bought out all the materials.

It’s a gold sink. Flipping only uses gold already in the economy and actually helps get rid of it because re-listing something for a higher price means that it ends up with a second (higher) set of fees paid on it. For better or worse I don’t think they’re ever going to stop nudging people in that direction.
On the plus side, it’s more fun than jumping.
i just hope they keep the zone!!
