Serious question. I want to know.

Obviously they’re more than happy to take all the Silk we can possibly trade them to mend their Sails. And the massive amounts of silk in our part of the world is explained of course by all the oversized worms everywhere. And they use leather of course for binding it all together and making stylish aviator’s caps out of the rest.

But where are they getting all this Bamboo from? And wouldn’t that just be a huge continuity breach in all the lore we’ve been told about losing all contact with …. you know …. (that other place I don’t want to mention b/c ppl make a realy big deal about it)

Isn’t Cantha completely closed off by the Ministry? No one can get in or out.

Would be a bit sad if the blockade can be ignored just by having a ship that flies.

Why? Before the Pact (who invented the first airships), the Zephyrites were the only organization with a flying vehicle, so little would be known about them, and they would hardly pose a threat to security. Why make a barrier to keep out airships when there are none? …Though, maybe I shouldnt talk, as I really have no idea what Cantha is.

Negative. GW1 was only ~250 years ago. Trade was wide open then.

Bamboo isn’t probably exclusive to Cantha you know. It’s not as if the plant is impossible to find outside Asia in our world too.

In fact, am I wrong or is there bamboo growing in the cliff map where the Zephyrites are docked? This place isn’t in Cantha.

There are bamboos within the Grove as well.
