Which activities count in Bazaar Ambassador?
Each of the jumping puzzles counts, although I don’t think the jumping puzzle meta counts.
It could be that you weren’t actually in the top 3 in the race, if someone ahead of you left and made it look like you were in the top 3, though I don’t know if it’s known to bug out or anything.
Frequent sprinter doesn’t count because it’s not really a achievement, I guess (not worth any points, endlessly repeatable), it’s just a way to facilitate a bonus chest. Fan favorite counts though.
[TAS] – The Asuran Squad
Devona’s Rest
Did you place in the top 3 as you won or did it tell you that as it reset? It only counts if you win in 1-3rd place, not if you place at the end (after people leave etc).
I expect it was due to people leaving and I only thought I was in 3rd. Thanks for clearing that up. So if you get first place does it give you two achievements at once? 1 for being first and 1 for placing in top 3?
Yes. I got both of them at the same time.
2 of the kite achievements require almost no jumping (one of those requires a single jump across one gap in a broken walkway, but that hardly counts! I did only those to get the meta (and, yes, they both counted ). I didn’t need my 1st place achievement either, although like the other poster I “accidentally” got it trying for 3rd! And I can confirm both of those counted towards the meta too
Which is the 2nd one with one jump? I know the Queensdale bandit cave was stupid quick to get…

Sorry for the delay – Kites of the Night
Thanks! Ah yes I’ve done that one before. Dark, traps, use torches. Got it.
Ok, I did that jp and the poor man’s kite one. Now I either have to place in top three of the racing or do one more jp. Which is the easiest of the remaining jp?

Everyone has been helpful so far, thanks!
I need only one more achievement to get the quartz node. Here is what is left for me:
- drinking minigame – you have to complete all the drinking minigame activities in order to play the guy in bazaar who gives you the achievement – correct or incorrect?
- race – getting in the top three would do it. Don’t think that is going to happen I’ve done more than 50 races and haven’t gotten closer than 6th place. Plus, I enjoy the race but if I continue trying this I will hate it and I don’t want to go there.
- jumping puzzles. I’ve done the two easy ones and have been trying for 2 days to do griffinrook run.
Questions:
Is anyone else in this same situation and would like to join a party with me to do the fractal kite? As best I can tell it would be the easiest one to complete of those left in the jp list.
Am I right about the drinking game? Do you have to complete everything to get the achievement?
I tried playing the bazaar hylek at the beginning and he wouldn’t play me. I went back after beating all the other masters, and was able to play him and win for the achievement.
Katz, maybe you know this already but you don’t need to complete Griffonrook to get the kite. Taking ones time without the bomb nor trying to complete the jp is much easier.
Kites of Iron isn’t toooo hard except the vet by the chest knocks you off before you can tag the kite. Bring stability for the tip-top and you should be fine. You can use Dulfy’s jumping puzzle guide for easy step by step instructions.

Yeah, I’ve watched Dulfy’s video about it and haven’t taken the bomb. The problem is I am falling and dying early on. I just truly fail and jumping puzzles.

Here is the basic way you can easily finish 1st. 2nd and 3rd are harder as you will see when I explain.
- Stay a bit back from the gate and run towards it just as it opens.
- Hit dash while trying to aim for the shortest distance between water and the land.
- Hit dash and aim for the skill bag on the left. About 50% of the time you will get the booster skill (skill 4).
- Use it and dash toward the middle twice (press 1 to come out of dash just before the bag. Try to get the second bag for another boost.
- Repeat 4 but try to save your second boosted dash for the ramp. Run up the ramp, power jump as you approach the top, hit dash and fly almost to the end of the hurdles.
- The second set of hurdles don’t use power jump for the ones with the red crystals so you can get the speed buffs.
- As the track turns toward the water fall there is a defense bag toward the left. If you are in 1st you will always get a fake power-up (skill 5). Spam it and dash through the water.
- Now that you are in first keep getting the defense bags as they will always drop fake power-ups. Spam them in every tight corner, bottle neck, landing pads.
- Make sure you always spam the fake power-up before you get to the next bag to ensure you can spam them constantly.
- After spamming a few you can slow down a bit to make sure you don’t fall, go the wrong way and so forth.
- Stroll across the finish line and wait at least 15 seconds for the others to cross the line.
That’s about it. The game more or less comes down to who gets the first fake power-up. There have only been a few times when I got the first one and lost. Usually it was due to me not paying attention and falling a few times or because I din’t use them to give others a chance.
Now if you are 2nd and 3rd and that is all you want you still grab the fake power-ups because they drop almost always for the 2nd and 3rd position as well. The key here is to know where the real ones are so if you see one out of place you know to try to avoid it. If it is in a bottle neck/landing pad you won’t have much chance to avoid it with a jump because of the AOE. Keep some ground (skill 6) and use it right as you approach. I try not to use them when I’m in that postion for avoiding the lightning strikes because the penalty for geting hit by lightning is not that bad and usually the players in your area get hit by them as well. So I save the to dodge the fakes especially if I have one I’m waiting to use. If you hit a fake, as I’m sure you have seen, you lose all your acquired skills. The main thing in that situation is don’t panic because you are more likely to fall.
If you are further behind again don’t panic and get in a hurry. Many people will fall and hit the fake power-ups left by those in 1st, 2nd, 3rd. This gives you a better chance to get into the top 3 due to players 2nd – 5th usually hitting the spammed fake power-ups. So in essence, many players will actually give you an advantage by plowing into them for you. If you get a teleport (elite skill) never, never use it right before you hit a checkpoint because the gain will be almost nothing. Try to save it until you cross a checkpoint for the best gain from it. Make sure you see that checkpoint reached text before you use it. I made that mistake once because I knew I was at a checkpoint but used it about 2 seconds too early. I literally teleported about 5 paces ahead LOL.
Anyway, I hope that will help you. My suggestion is to do just a couple of races in a sitting to avoid frustation. You will actually race worse when you are frustrated. Plus your next go around you may be lucky and end up with a game with others that haven’t done the race 500 times. I’ve had more first places finishes just going in for the loot than when I try to stress over it. Although it is a race, pacing yourself to avoid making the wrong move by accident can often pay off.
tl;dr
Get to the first fake power-up before the rest. Use it. Make sure you get all the fake-power ups along the way and spam them non-stop. Win.
Edit: Tomorrow I will take some screen shots of the first leg of the race with some arrows to show the best chances to get to the first fake power-up. Again some of it depends on luck and if you get a boost by the first two bags.

The drinking game, yep, you have to complete all, since the achievement is to defeat poyaki and he won’t fight you unless you’ve defeated all other ones.
About the jumping puzzles, I found kites of iron very easy to do, just be sure to wait until after the screen stops shaking to jump and as soon as you’re done with that part, run to the kite to get it before fighting the veteran as he can throw you off, and while it took me some time, I also found Kites over Caledon relatively easy to do. If you check dulfy’s video on it it looks intimidating because the jumps are time sensitive, but bear in mind that anytime you activate one of the terminals it also acts as a checkpoint, if you fall (and I did, a LOT) you can talk to the little bot in the beggining and he’ll transport you to the last terminal you activated, and they’re not too far away from each other.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I’ll work on the race and jp and if I get a group the fractal.
Ok, got the last achievement. I appreciate all the suggestions.
