I don’t know what you mean but… prices for skins is dropping fast, I was expecting them to go up to sell the ones I got but I think everyone else had the same idea…

Not really. Now that the ingredients have stopped being produced, the price of those ingredients will go up. Meaning the price of the end result will also rise. That’s just market forces at work.

I’m just surprised it’s happening so quickly.

Not sure what TP you’re looking at because I see the opposite of what you just described.

I was holding on to some shoulder pads they where almost 3g yesterday down to 1.8g. Dumped them about 2 hours ago.

Are you talking about the weapon skins like chainsaw?

Seems like a pump and dump. These things MIGHT go up, but everyone willing to spend more than 30g on a chainsaw skin already has so I wouldn’t count on it.

I’m not sure what TP you are looking at, but the one in GW2 shows the prices for the Halloween skins PLUMMETING, certainly not rising in price. Most people are losing money on their investments, certainly not gaining any money.

I think the OP is suggesting that they’re a good investment due to the price being so low, though it’s not particularly convincing.

Granted, if someone does “post on reddit” as the OP suggests, they may have a small window to make a decent profit.

The problem wiht this investment was ANET changing the game. AT first NOV 5th was the date these were to be removed, now its the 15th. Couple that with them saying that SOME of the stuff will be available via the gemstore, and people are taking a wait n see approach. This separates the men from the boys, but if you stay the course you will be rewarded.

I dont know I think the time to get out is now. In 10 days will be lost shore event and we can probably expect new skins of some sort. Then on december 15th will be wintersday I don’t think these will really go mucher higher than they are now.

which is why i sold my greatsaw skin and bought a mad moon(decent cheap way to invest in this stuff) and a scythe skin(i believe the demand for this will never cease, particularly with necro’s) we will see how it all pans out. My mistake was not selling the greatsaw at 70 gold like i should have, but ill still make out ok.

Yea I got in and out on that one. Had GS skin the first day when they shot as high as 80g watched as the price peeked there and started to go down quickly got out at 65g. Also had the 1h skins sold 2 at 11g. I think the shield and the scythe will stay pretty popular.
