Now I understand within reason that they’d have to add a new slot to the game for it but…

I am rather sick and tired of seeing all these ‘naked’ folks running around in that hideous yellow set of knickers or a pair of boxers.

In Guild Wars 1 our ‘knickers’ were customizable.

You’d make more money than you would know what to do with if you integrated some sort of underthings layer.

So if people run around in the nude.. at least it won’t be horrific and poorly coloured.

They did have a few nice ones, the elementalist and the Ritualist in particular, but they were not any less naked than what you are talking about.

Nostalgia is a powerful force, it can even corrupt memories.

The only change I’d like to see, is that they take their colors from the primary channels for the chest piece and leggings. That’s it.

At the very least give us some swimwear!

If anyone ever played vindictus, that game originally started out making underwear purchaseable in their NX shop (‘twas a nexon game, yea them) which actually boosted a magic find stat and also they had the function of armour breaking in combat after a lot of wear and tear so they figured you needed I look good under there. Of course later on they did away with that stat (as did gw2, so many resemblances) but continued to make endless kinds of underwear, even holiday related because people bought all of them to make all their characters sexy (you could of course dye them in any colors you had as well). Now I know for a fact that people on this game love to dress up their characters and the idea of bringing this to the gem shop would blow up their sales in not only NA and EU but definately in China as well.
From what I’ve gathered, Anet’s team that deals with the gem shop is (i believe) from Nexon who of course are the kings of getting the dough through ingame purchases. My only guess is that one day, and I hope soon, that items such as these would be available by the truckload.

Rather have basic “swimwear” underclothes than Blade & Soul’s lingerie and loin cloths.
