Guild Wars 2

Was just wondering, on the first 2-3 days of the Sale, I won’t be able to log on or play Guild Wars 2. Will this mean I can’t get items that went on sale on that day or will they stick around for the week?

I hate answering with “I don’t know” but if bumping’s happening .. well .. I don’t know for sure. I have logged in to game almost every day since launch and noticed most every sale in time to make a considered decision on whether to take advantage of it or not. My memory of last year’s Anniversary Sale is dim by now.

However, if I recall correctly, the March sale this year was one day only for each day’s sales. The safe way to bet is that this one will be that way, so if you can’t log on today to get your 40% off character slot you’ve missed that sale.

Since it sales daily sale, I would expect that you will miss out.

it says its a 10 day sale
but does that mean its on for ten days or that its a sale every day for ten days?

Some of their “daily sales” have allowed you 72 hours per item, but most have been limited to 24 hours. If it’s a short period, I expect we’ll see the cooldown timer display next to the item’s icon in the gem store. Keep an eye out.

Consider asking a friend to monitor the situation and set them up with some gems so they can gift you anything you want that will go off-sale before you return.

The items on sale have all remained on sale, so you should be safe for the whole 10 day sale period. I would expect that the sale will end once it’s gone on ten days, that being the advertised name of it and all.

The text on the is also clearer as it now say “added”…
