Hello people!

Since 2,5 weeks i play Gw2. I am now lvl 69 on one character and decided today to make a new one. Well everything was going alright. Just going great.. And suddenly i got a unidentified dye. i was pretty happy with it and i feld lucky. So i decided to identify it. And then arenaNET’s evil troll appeared. I got a midnight blue dye, Worth 80 silver at the black lion and i was very happy! .. Until i realised i can’t sell it nor give it to my other account.

How can i sell this dye for the price it is worth? 80 silver is like 1/5th of my entire GW2 bank. so it is pretty much for me…

Umm you can sell the dye if you do not use it. ID it then you have a choice, keep it, or sell it/give to alt.

You can’t keep it then sell it after using it.

I tried to sell it. But the listing fee is red and selling is not possible.

You don’t have enough cash to cover the posting fee.

Thanks Carnivoor, you’ve just given me that much needed fuzzy feeling inside by revealing that there are actual innocently naive gamers on this forum, who just want to play, have fun and enjoy their experience. I have been so sick of browsing these forums as a result of being constantly exposed to nauseating, acronym riddled ‘hardcore’ gamers, who just want to constantly complain until they’ve essentially completed the game.

I don’t post a lot and I’m a nice guy, I would never of thought that the aspiring GW2 community would have made me feel this way.

Agreed. This clearly goes against forum rules. I demand the mods immediate lock/delete/ban for this conduct.

Haha, I hope you have tons of fun with the game, glad you worked things out and discovered new stuff!
I believe you could’ve send to your other character by depositing in the bank =D

Newbie posts are always a good read, for this exact reason: too many forum-people take stuff waaaaaay too seriously!
