Soo im planning to buy an armor skin from gem store, but someone told me i can only use it once on the current armor im wearing, when i level up and change my armor the skin wont be available and i have to buy it again ?!

No, you need transmutation stones from either zone completion or the gem store to add the look everytime after the first.

Be careful. The armor skins are sorted into light, medium, and heavy. Which I find odd. If I’m paying for a look I don’t want to be limited by my armor type.

Well, that has the same logic behind it as not being able to transmute a heavy armor with a light armor look. Can’t have a bunch of Warriors out there soaking up damage in a silk robe, can you? (Mithril Bikinis aside, of course… >.<)
