Hi! Read this suggestions elsewhere and the person that gave it did not want to come to officials forums.
2 main ideas clash here:
1. Skins should have a PvE “locker” once we acquire a skin we should not have to work so hard or buy full price to get the same look again.
2. Anet needs to make money and Trans crystal are probably generating a lot of income for them as cosmetics is basically GW endgame.
So here is the suggestion Anet. Gives us the PVE locker with the following mechanics:
-If we “deposit” an armor it becomes a “skin” no stats or sigils are stored.
-If we want to use a skin we need to use a Trans Crystal/stone to take a copy of skin out and apply it on an item (stones for items below lvl 80 or crystal for items at lvl 80 or forget about stones and just use crystals but gives another way to get rid of the stones)
-If you need to further monetize this then gives a few “panes” free and charge extra to get more slots opened.
-Make the PVE locker be in our home instance! it would make sense for our “wardrobe” to be in our homes.
The point here is that you, Anet Devs, will still sell Trans Crystal (may I argue that maybe even more than before as our “selection” of armor suddenly crosses territory into impulse buy) and we, the players, get a place to store our “looks” for eternity.
PS. I’m sure there are a kinks to work out in the system this is a players perspective.
PS 2: Yes, Legendaries are excluded, kinda obvious really.
