Aren’t BL keys supposed to be on sale per the store news page: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/super-boom-box-and-more-in-the-gem-store/

I am not seeing a sale on keys, however. Does this sale activate at a later point in time? Is Gnashblade teasing us?

The key itself isn’t on sale, they’re offering the pack of 25 at a further reduced price.

1x @ 125 each
5x @ 90 each
25x @ 84 each

Understood. I didn’t realize the 25 pack was new!

I just realized the 33% reduction is from single key price only … that’s not really much difference if you’re going to buy a pack tho =/

Even more amusing is the fact that the advertising for this offer on the main page states 33% off.

That would actually be 83.325 gems per key. (125 * .6666)

Since the single Gem is the lowest denomination of the Gem Store currency and the practice of every major retailer, in the US at least, is to always round off fractions in the Customers favor ( ie: even 83.99 cents would round down to 83 cents on special offers – it stops all possible customer complaints about the sale price for 1 penny) this bundle ought to be 2075 gems.

Trivial I know, although 25 gems is a bit more than 25 pennies, but just another example of my perception of the marketing practice of this company, where everything is apparently always rounded off, or hyped, or slanted, or spun in Their favor.

So enjoy your 32.8% discount. It is still somewhat better than the normal 28% discount – 90 Gems each price on 5 Keys. (Yes, that’s an actual discount of 4.8% off the Everyday bulk price – 6 / 125 = 4.8%)
