Guild Wars 2

After this recent patch, I noticed the change in the BLTP background window, and I don’t really care for the coloring of it. The previous background was easier to read text against, however, this new one has yellow and orange tones making rare/exotic item text slightly more difficult to read. Anyone else feel similar?

Maybe they intend for us to be able to buy new TP backgrounds with gems? You know, instead of awesome town clothes.

I was very angry when I saw it was changed today. It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t look so bad. Why change something that looked decent into something that doesn’t look good?

It’s Wintersday styled, so it’ll probably only last for the month.

It’s pretty. There’s no problem concerning readability.

Complaining about a texture while the economy spirals, the game gets more grind, WvW becomes more zergy, culling becomes more of a problem and sPvP/tPvP becomes even more stale seems like a monumental waste of pixels…

… and yes, complaining about complaining even more so.

I’m pretty sure there are already enough complaints about broken / imbalanced mechanics for Anet to see what people are concerned about there. Do we not have a right as players to complain about a presumably unnecessary cosmetic change for the worse? I spend enough time on the trading post that the new background bothers me.
