Except, not really a limited supply, since there are still a few days left for pretty much anyone who wants one of these to get ahold of it. Depending for your investment return almost entirely on people who have yet to buy GW2 doesn’t seem like a very sound strategy.

Candy corn itself, on the other hand, may very well rise quite a bit after its supply is cut off.

I don’t think candy corn will increase in demand much. I alone have around 10k candy corn, from buying through dirt cheap prices and just mining/ToT bags. I’m pretty sure anyone who wants to craft some haloween item in the future has more than enough candy corns. Not even the haloween legendaries need that much cc

Huh… Thanks for bringing this to my attention. While I don’t intend to craft any of the Halloween items myself (don’t like the look), I AM something of a recipe completionist, so if the recipes are going for that cheap, I’m going to pick one of each up for my crafters.
