I have a question. I’m trying to clear all of my collectables, and i’m selling them on the TP. I’m just wondering to anyone who knows or Anet. How come after i sell 5-7 items it says Error to sell? It bugs the crap out of me when i’m trying to sell 90 different materials… It takes like an hour because you get the Error every few items.

It seems like you might be trying to sell too many items too quickly.

It’s not an error, I believe it was originally intended to prevent botting.

Sometimes opening/closeing it will fix it right away, other times you just have to wait it out.

On average you can sell one item every 7 seconds. I believe it’s over one minute.
So you can sell 8 items very quickly, but for the following items you need to wait for the next minute.
opening/closing doesn’t fix it. This process just takes some time, and you may have waited enough by doing that.

Someone was asking a developer some questions about an expected update a few months ago, then this subject came up. They said “We finally found that bug btw, trying to fix it… that error will die soonish”

Considering I have gotten this on the first item I have tried to sell a few times, the theories about selling too fast or an anti botting tool are extremely unlikely.

It’s just another bug.
