Have had the same problem for 2 days now, although my girlfriend can access the Trade Post whereas I cannot access teh gem store or Trade Post in any kind of way. Getting annoying, so please help.

Same problem. Searched extensively in forums. I’ve tried all recommendations I found:
1. Restarted client
2. Rebooted computer
3. Rebooted router
4. Set DNS Startup to Automatic (it already was)
5. Checked the box to run GW2 as Administrator
Edit: 6. Ran cmd then ipconfig /dnsflush
Edit: 7. Changed languages from English to another and back
… no dice.
I have seen something about setting your anti-virus to allow the BLTC browser but I can’t even find it on my computer. Tried all of the spellings I have seen… seems to be a different spelling with each post. The most common spellings are awesomonium_process or awesomium_process, sometimes with the .exe extension spelled out.
Submitted a bug report but I’m not holding my breath since they actually state that they do not respond to individual reports.
This is an integral part of the game. Please kind folks at ArenaNet, fix this, or help us fix this.

Still BLTC is still broken for a week now. My drive for playing this game dropped. Please help me.
Got the same problem auction totally blank
this is a bug-ish thingy I had a couple of times, the main thing that indicates the bug is that is shows no number of gems you have.
what works against this, is when the game is started, just open the tp and load it. it works 9/10 times at least.

Whenever that happens to me I find that the server returns a 502: Bad gateway error. I can’t say for sure if your issue is the same as mine but if it is, then it is probably a problem on the server side, not your client.

If you still encounter issues, you can see if you can login to the TP using your default browser and see if that works for you:
…this should test some client settings.

The T kitten imply a web browser that pops up in the game. I’m going to assume that something security wise on your system isn’t pleased with it in some way. Firewall software, bad IE install (I’m guessing it’s using the browser code built into Windows, the same code the IE uses rather than rolling their own).
