I’m trying to sell some stuff on the broker and it says I have to upgrade to use this feature?

Whaaat? I’ve spent hundreds on this bloody game since launch, and now you want me to pay MORE just to use a basic feature?

You’re joking right?

I had it yesterday at the gemstore too, its because of the free-week. Just wait a Minute or two and it will go away.

Try to relog.

Several times I’ve tried to use the TP and it gives me an error, turns out it’s when I’ve been online for too long (I think the TP session expires or something), a relog fixed it. The error is a generic website error (the TP seems to be a website or something like that displayed in the game).

Thing is, several times when my connections have been slow I’ve seen the same error for a couple of seconds before the TP loads and covers it, so I’m guessing the error is used as a background and the TP interface covers it so you don’t see it unless there was actually an error. Since the free weekend is coming, they might have changed the generic error message for a “you need to upgrade to full version to use this feature” one, and might be why you’re seeing it if the TP failed to load for some reason.

This is clearly a bug of some sort. If you own a full copy of the game and don’t have a trial account, you shouldn’t need to pay anything to use any of the in-game features. As Symaro said, wait a minute or two and try again. If that fails, completely restart your client (Exit to desktop → relaunch game).

I’ve seen the same thing as Locoman – I open the TP and at first I get a screen saying something about an error, then the little yellow loading icon appears in the middle and then the TP opens.

I suspect they just put a genetic message on there which normally says something about it being unavailable and for the trial weekend they changed it to say you can’t use it without a full account.

Mod suggests to re-log. Mine did it just before the great disconnect.

I’ve had the same problem for the last hour. Tried logging off and back in. Tried re-starting the game client. Tried re-booting my pc. Tried changing the language in the TP (as suggested on another thread) with the TP open. None of these worked. Trying to re-open the TP a couple of times didn’t work either. Got a full inventory and not much patience left.

I’m having the exact same issue as Xash. I’ve tried reloading the entire client and waited about 30 minutes at least and nothing seems to be changing. I sent a bug report stating that it was in fact halting progress, as it sort of is, and I’m just hoping/waiting to hear back from Anet soon.

So seems I’m not alone… I’ve upgraded to full account today, and been even selling few things already before going back to leveling. After my inventory got full I came back to sell more stuff, but now I can’t any more.

Same here it’s annoying as hell, just when I wanted to exchange some gold for gems.

Hmm seems the whole trading system isn’t working… I can’t even buy now.

a friend of mine removed an important offer in TP and it was removed but he got no money back and he’s going crazy :/ please help
