Looks to me like someone is buying up Dill Sprig in order to control the market…perhaps covering their tracks a little by telling people to buy things like Bowl Of Krytan Meatball Dinner, which no one is eating anyways. Why would you pay 20s for that when you can pay 10s for a Bowl of Curry Pumpkin Soup?

Don’t fall for this, guys. It’s a trap. Apparently they’ve controlled the dill sprig prices since May.

Well, if so, there’s a sucker born every minute. I just thought I’d do the community a service and call him out. I don’t care if he’s trolling or not, this kind of behavior isn’t cool in my book. So I’m happy to ruin it for anyone trying to scam others, troll or no troll.

Thanks to this thread, I sold the 40 dill languishing in my collections and made over 5 gold. So I guess I did profit. ^^

you only had 40? …pfft I get an average of 80 of them in one night…

Also might be of interest to people… I put together a rough snapshot sample of the Herb node “drop table” (i guess you’d call it?) in all patches I found Adjacent to "the Brand’ which is BTW, the most efficient possible way to get them b/c Mature & Verdent nodes always yield too much Mint & Terragon instead. (seriously, who wants that stuf?? They need to either tweak those value or add more recipes that use that crap up like they did with Saffron which I also cashed in on big time.)

(continuing) ….Those are pretty decent values for the most part, but I feel that Thyme and Black Peps could just be removed from that set of nodes entirely. I also think it would be a good idea if they just added a “Seedy Herb” node to Southsun that was basically nothing but Dill b/c AFAIK, it’s only other use is in that Tropical dressing …. and also b/c let’s be honest, Southsun is a hellhole. It’s a scarier place to newbies than the Jade Sea was. It’s basically an alien world /w incredibly O^P Mobs that makes Orr look comforting…
