I love the idea of reusable tools. I bought the salvage kit already. However, I play an elementalist but I wasn’t here when the Flame and Frost event happened. I think function + cool animation is totally work the price … but I can’t justify price for a skin/animation that doesn’t fit thematically.

Bone pick would be great if I played necro … but imo it’s a bit silly that necros who started later can still grab tools that fit them, but if you’re an ele you missed your shot.

I get you want to keep some rarity … to be honest I personally would pay a good chunk MORE for “retired” tools that I really wanted (have you ever seen how Gaia Online does this? People will pay $50+ sometimes for a single “clothing” item). Hopefully it’s helpful insight. I bet I’m not the only person who missed the boat who feels that way.

I can’t justify spending anything on the bone pick though.

They already released every unlimited tool during the Anniversary. (About a month ago)

Probably won’t see a re release for a long time

I’m aware, I’m just saying I’d pay premium to get them at some point again … not just asking for them to return at same price.

Don’t see a problem with bringing them back. But I am looking forwards to seeing what the new tools we are gonna get are. Seems we are following the dragon pattern now. What with the undead pick. I wonder if the next two will be based on the claw or the shatter

I bought 2-3 every time they came out, but i was alt-ing like hell, and couldn’t choose a main, but neither could live without tools. so when they re-released i again stocked up massively, now 6 chars have full set xD I can switch any time without ever going to the trouble again, i went earlier tru (buying picks again, even though i know i have permanent tools on other char feels silly). I’m glad i prepared to well for this (i bought gems when they were cheap knowing they would come back one more time). That was a very good investment if i look at threads like these.

I’m sorry for OP and hope anet sooner or later gives people like him/her a chance again.
