Would have posted this in the suggestion forum but I couldn’t so…

Since this leg of the Living Story is finally coming to its conclusion, why not bring back some of the items that were relevant to the story (Brahm’s gear/weapons, Rox’s quiver/short bow, Toxic Shoulders/Gloves, ect.) for maybe a week?

I know quite a few people (myself included) that were not able to play during some of these times, and would love a chance to claim some of these items.

Honestly it would be a win for everyone. People get a chance at items they may have been unable to purchase previously, and you, Anet, will get more money thrown at you. And don’t pretend you don’t want that!

Well ANet makes money on these special short term sales i.e. you only have 2 weeks buy buy buy!? Since you can trade gold for gems, those that don’t have gold (and aren’t able to farm the gold in the 2 week limit) will have to buy their gems to get these items. If the items were permanent then some players might decide rather to farm gold (since they have an infinite amount of time to do so) and trade gold for gems.
However I’d personally like it if old gem store items did return. Several items I’d like to still be able to buy.

Not sure about this. If it cost 800 gems before and 800 gems now, why would people be angry? It not like they’d feel particularly cheated would they? Or is this one of those ‘people are innately unreasonable’-things?

Once the arc is over, they probably will do a recap on the gem store. It’ll probably be one of those week long sales with a different item every day. I wouldn’t expect to see the molten stuff though, since they’ve already done an after sale for it.

There’s going to be a rather large downtime after the story is complete, so they’ll have to do something to keep the store active.

The BLTC forum is the suggestion forum for BLTC related suggestions, even before the forum change.

One of the reasons why these items are valued thusly is beacuse they were never ment to be permanently available. They keep cycling new merchendise in, old merchendise out, and overall they sell more.

Point taken but you act as if I’m suggesting they bring back these items full time.

I am merely suggesting another limited time window that they will be available, just as a second chance for those who may have missed out.

I personally would pick up some of the old stuff if it were re-released. Folks make new characters and such, but things become soul-bound, or perhaps we missed out on items because real-life stuff, etc. etc.

I’d love to see some of the gem store items from this story arc from the parts that I missed back in the store again!
