I’m trying to sell 2 Amulets, items are NOT Soul Bound or Account Bound, they will not show up in the sell windows of the Trading Post.

- Berserker’s Amulet of the Sky
- Shaman’s Amulet of the Valkyrie

What’s the point of crafting if you can’t sell stuff, I just don’t get it?

I think that last sentence should drive home a few points for Anet: no one, including their mothers, uses crafting to make items for themselves.

there are berserker’s amulets on the TP… are you sure it was crafted? don’t crafted trinket names look something more like: “Ruby Orichalcum Amulet of the Berserker”?

I believe if you add a gem etc to the slot. Lots come without the additional ruby,flower etc.

Berserker´s Amulet of the Sky has a Celestial Gemstone on it, which makes it soulbound.
I guess that is the same problem with the other one you try to sell.

Adding any upgrade component to a piece of unbound gear will make it soulbound.

Chiming in to confirm what Wanze said; if you’ve upgraded it, it becomes soulbound, except for some unusual account bound gear. That seems to be what happened here.

This is correct.

So, you can sell crafted stuff, but not if you’ve made it soulbound with upgrades. And the two amulets in the OP weren’t crafted in the first place, anyway.

On further thought, I think it’s worth pointing out that you could sell the gemstone upgrades you make with crafting, just not gear it’s been applied to. So, you could sell a crafted Beryl-based gemstone (for Valkyrie stats,) just as long as you don’t apply it to something first, which isn’t a crafting process. If you craft an amulet, it already has the gemstone pre-applied, and you can sell it on the trading post.

The exception here is with Charged Quartz and anything made with it, which is always account bound. Hope that clears up any lingering confusion.

Just to rule out some of the less common possible “oopsie” reasons…you don’t have them in an invisible bag, do you? Items in invisible bags (and maybe the safe boxes and invisible leather packs) don’t show up to be sold to merchants and on the TP.

If that’s still not what might be happening…maybe try posting a screenie of the amulets here? Sometimes it’s easier to spot what might be wrong looking at a picture.

I think you didnt craft those Amulets, you simply added an upgrade component to amulets that you didnt craft yourself (at a Jeweler Station).

If you put an upgrade component on an item, it will make it soulbound and everytime you do it, a pop-up appears for you to confirm that it will become soulbound.

Both Amulets you mentioned arent directly craftable and the “of the Sky” Suffix means, you added a Quartz Crystal with celestial stats. All Celestial Gear is account bound in the first place.

My guess would be that you simply misunderstood that adding an upgrade component to an item is crafting, which it is not.

If the items still show soulbound on use after applying an upgrade, it means the tooltip is bugged. But as I said, you have to confirm everytime you apply an upgrade that the item will become soulbound.

The tooltip (or some associated thing) is definitely buggy. I’ve encountered a number of perturbations on the soul/account-binding issue where items do not reflect the proper status. It can also get wonky when transmutation or skin application is involved. It’s not consistent (or not consistent generally), so it’s often difficult to know what’s what at any given time without trying to equip the items.

The tooltips have been like that since … forever. The items actually become Account Bound rather than Soulbound until you equip it.
