of course I already did, but since after 2 days I still didn’t get any reply, I also asked the forums.
Check you junk mail for replies as well, some of the popular web based e-mail tag ArenaNet as junk.

I run into this problem all the time. Every answer I’ve had (always within a few hours), is that they have various restrictions on amount you can spend and the card that’s used for each transaction. If you go over these, they end up blocking the service for a bit (I’ve tested it before, and usually it’s a week, though if you try again within that week it seems to reset). They wouldn’t “for matters of security” give me any further details on what the spend limit is, how long the suspension lasts for etc.
The one thing I have found is that you need to contact support via the link they give you in the error message … I’ve tried just going through the website before and nobody got back to me for ages.
And yes, best to check the junk folder as well for a response. The first time I logged a problem with them all the emails went into junk.
Thank you for the feedback, CrossedHorse. I spent 10€ of gems about a week ago and since then I only got the error when trying to purchase again. It is weird that they limit me to spend 10€ once a week

Surprised you’ve not got a reply. When I put in a ticket yesterday about my gems not coming through, I got a response within three hours. The gems came through by themselves though.

Hmm, that is odd. I tend to buy more than that at a time, and it works but only if you buy within a certain timeframe. It’s an odd system they have but they refuse to explain it to me further (no idea why).
